Connect Cambodia, 2023: KFCO

After 2 years of Covid, KFCO was finally able to throw a launch party in Phnom Penh on December 28 of last year, which was timed with patron Li-Da Kruger’s trip to Cambodia from the UK. 

Despite a short lead up time, it was a great success. Our country Director Po-Thai Kin and Li-Da presented and introduced our mission and activities. About 100 people came – including locals, adoptees, friends, press and active members of our project already. Although it was more of a soft launch and introduction to DNA, we managed to test 5 new participants searching for family and to raise $1,147 USD. Every little bit counts!
